Abstract

|
The purpose of this research was to investigate effect of Ga Mi Ban Suk Hwan water extract(GBSE) on the analgesic, anti-inflammatory action and the proliferation of human female cancer cells. GBSE inhibited the writhing syndrome induced by acetic acid, the cotton pellet granuloma formation and the mouse paw edema induced by histamine. But GBSE did not inhibit the permeability of evans blue into peritoneal cavity, GBSE did not affect the proliferation of Balb/c 3T3 cells. GBSE inhibited the proliferation of HeLa and MCF-7 cells.
These results suggest that GBSE has the analgesic action and the anti-inflammatory action, and the cytotoxicity of HeLa and MCF-7 cells.
